2021 ACFL SEASON

THE ATLANTA FALCONS ARE ACFL CHAMPIONS!!

The Atlanta Falcons again pulled off the unthinkable and beat the Las Vegas Raiders in Super Bowl VII 33-27.    Once again the Falcons coaching staff decided to use trickery as they did against the Vikings in the NFC championship game. With the Raiders leading by the score of 27-24 and with under 5 minutes remaining in regulation, Lee took the snap rolled to his right and hit a wide open Russell Gage for what was the game winning touchdown.    The ensuing possession the Raiders went three and out decided to punt and rely on their defense.  The Raiders defense came up big and stopped the Falcons and got the ball back with less than 2 minutes remaining.  The Falcons Myles Garrett and Deion Jones pressured Drew Brees in which they forced him into his own end zone as Bress's pass fell incomplete, ACFL referee Clete Blakeman threw the flag for intentional grounding which yielded the Falcons two points and the ball with a minute remaining, two kneel downs later the Falcons became ACFL Champions for the first time in franchise history.

ABOUT THE ACFL

An 8-team league broken into 2 Conferences (AFC & NFC) that plays the APBA Football Master game with modifications.  We play our games over Skype as we have owners all over the U.S.  We play a 10-game regular season with Conference Championships followed by our Super Bowl. The league is still in its infancy as we formed in 2015. Our annual 8-round draft occurs in late April to early May. As we do not have much history as a league we certainly have many years combined of history playing the APBA football game. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a part of this league you can contact the league office at acfl.apba.league@gmail.com
